Doncic averaged 33.5 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 8.3 assists per game in the regular season. He also secured his second scoring title.
The Lakers were swept by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the second round of the playoffs after defeating the Houston Rockets in the first round, both without Doncic due to injury. Los Angeles has significant salary cap space available this offseason and plans to build a championship-caliber team around Doncic.
