St. Petersburg residents can meet with city officials and gather hurricane supplies at Lake Vista Park on May 27 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Mayor Ken Welch and St. Pete Fire Rescue are hosting the free event at 1401 62nd Ave. S. Attendees will receive hurricane preparedness supplies and information on evacuation planning, storm safety and emergency response.
