University Drive, on Friday, Oct. 23, from 6 – 8:30 p.m. At The Great Pumpkin Splash, families can dive into the fall fun with a pumpkin pool pit, handcrafted balloon art and pumpkin decorating stations. Additional thrills include arts & crafts and hula hoop contests. Admission to The Great Pumpkin Splash is $5 per attendee. Visit Tamarac.me/Events to reserve your spot. Event parking is available on-site at the Caporella Aquatic Center. Photo archives from previous Great Pumpkin Splash events are available online. The City’s annual free fall festival, Halloween Hoopla, gives children and families a safe and festive place to celebrate Halloween under the moonlight. The event will feature trick-or-treat stations, food and tabled vendors, and live entertainment throughout the evening. Families can also enjoy hands-on, fall-themed arts and crafts. Children can enter the action zone, featuring a bungee trampoline, laser tag and bounce houses. Halloween Hoopla is open to the public. All ghouls and goblins are encouraged to bring reusable bags to store their delicious treats. The first 500 children will receive a goodie bag. On-site event parking is available at the Tamarac Recreation Center. Photo archives from the 2025 Halloween Hoopla are available online.
