Rebid - Scrubber, Degasifier, and Membrane Services Contract | Tequesta, FL - Official Website Invitation to Bid No. ITB-UTIL 10-05-2026/JR-1 Scrubber, Degasifier, & Membrane Services Contract Sealed bids will only be accepted via DemandStar for the Scrubber, Degasifier, & Membrane Services Contract until 2:00 PM, local time, November 5, 2026, at which time all bids received will be publicly opened virtually on DemandStar and read. Bids received after the time and date specified will not be considered. The work generally consists of providing continuing maintenance, inspection, cleaning, troubleshooting, repair, rehabilitation, media replacement, component replacement, technical support, and related specialty services for the Village’s odor control scrubber systems, degasifier systems, reverse osmosis treatment systems, and associated equipment at the Village of Tequesta Water Treatment Plant. Services may include, but are not limited to, scheduled and as-needed inspections, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, emergency response, chemical cleaning, media replacement, packing replacement, vessel inspections, membrane-related services, blower maintenance, component replacement, performance testing, operational troubleshooting, technical recommendations, reporting, and other related services necessary to maintain, restore, or improve the operational performance of the covered systems. This Agreement shall be for an initial term of three (3) years, with the option for the Village to renew the Agreement for up to three (3) additional one-year renewal terms, subject to satisfactory performance, available funding, and mutual written agreement of the parties. The Village reserves the right to award contracts to one or more responsive and responsible Bidders. Any resulting contract shall be non-exclusive, and individual Work Orders may be assigned among awarded Contractors based on availability, applicable Contract pricing, relevant experience and expertise, and demonstrated performance during the Contract term. Bidding documents may be viewed and downloaded online at DemandStar or on the Village of Tequesta’s website. Any questions regarding the specifications and solicitation process must be submitted in writing via email to Juan Rivas, Capital Improvements Project Manager. Questions and requests for clarification and additional information must be received before the deadline for submission of questions on October 29, 2026, at 5:00 PM local time. Pursuant to Section 2-355 of Palm Beach County Ordinance No. 2011-039, and the purchasing policies of the Village of Tequesta, all solicitations, once advertised, are under the “Cone of Silence” until the appropriate authority has approved an award recommendation, rejected all responses or some other action by the Village to end the selection process. This limits and requires documentation of communication between potential bidders and/or bidders on Village solicitations, the Village’s professional staff, and the Village Council members.
