Website Sign In Home Departments Community Development Housing Administration First-Time Homebuyer Purchase Assistance Program First-Time Homebuyer Purchase Assistance Program Eligible Applicants  will be invited to apply online starting  Monday, November 2, 2026 at 10 A.M.  Overview The First-Time Homebuyer Purchase Assistance Program (FTHB) provides down payment and closing cost assistance to income-eligible first-time homebuyers purchasing a home within the City of Tamarac.      Who is a first-time homebuyer? Applicants who: Do not currently own a home or did not own a home (house, condo, townhouse, etc.) in the last three (3) years. A single parent who has only owned a home with a former spouse while married (displaced due to divorce within the last three years. Considered on a case-by-case). An individual who is a displaced homemaker and has only owned with a spouse. Planned Reclaimed Water Outage – Eastern Service Area • Winter Springs, FL From Thursday, October 8, 2025, through Friday, October 9, 2026, City of Winter Springs Utilities crews will replace a valve in one of the main reclaimed irrigation lines serving the eastern service area. As a result, customers in the eastern service area will experience a temporary interruption of reclaimed water service. This repair is scheduled to take advantage of the forecasted rainfall for the rest of the week, helping minimize the impact on customers by ensuring irrigation needs are naturally met. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make these necessary upgrades to our reclaimed system.
