In anticipation of heavy rainfall associated with Tropical Storm Isaias this weekend, Bay County has placed sand for bagging available to the public at McElvey Road off Thomas Drive in Panama City Beach and at Majette Yard off Firetower Road. Bags will not be provided but are available for purchase at area hardware stores. Several municipalities are also providing sand to residents; please see the graphic below. For specific or additional information, please call the municipality directly. If you don't have time for an elaborate ceremony, but still want a memorable wedding day choose Simply Married by calling 352-253-4300 for an appointment today. About the Ceremony Tavares Pavilion on the Lake offers a simple alternative to courthouse weddings in a beautiful setting located in our Pavilion Gardens. Simple ceremonies are $75 and are available on Wednesday's from the hours of 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Advance appointments are required; please call 352-253-4300 to schedule. A valid marriage license must be obtained in advance, issued by a Florida Clerk of the Circuit Court. All marriages are performed by a Notary Public. You can dress up, or come as you are. The civil ceremony performed is very simple, dignified and nondenominational. Like a traditional courthouse wedding, the ceremony is only a few minutes long. Couples may write their own vows, within the parameters of the time allotted. Pricing and Fees The $75 fee for Simply Married includes: A licensed Florida Notary Public as officiate A simple 5 minute recitation of vows Ceremony is performed with wedding party and guests standing Signing of the marriage license by Florida Notary Public The fee for Simply Married does not include: Music Flowers Chairs or other seating Candle or unity ceremony
