Sebastian residents now have a centralized Alert Center on the city's official website for real-time updates on city notices and emergency road closures. The online portal aims to keep the community informed about potential disruptions and important announcements.
The Alert Center consolidates various alerts into one location, providing a single reference point for critical information affecting daily life. Currently, the center lists one active city notice under 'Citizens Requests,' posted Sept. 24, 2025, at 1:24 p.m. It also displays one 'Road Closings' alert, dated March 18, 2025, at 11:08 a.m. This road closure alert links to a new Traffic Alert map with detailed information for affected routes.
Residents can subscribe to the 'Notify Me®' service or an RSS feed for immediate notifications of new alerts and emergencies.
