Friendship Park: Sebastian's Only Clay Tennis Courts

Sebastian residents seeking a distinctive tennis experience can find it at Friendship Park, home to the city's only four Har-Tru clay courts. These courts, resurfaced in July 2020, offer a playing surface that differs from other municipal facilities in the area.

The city makes these courts available by reservation. Interested players should contact the Friendship Park Tennis Office directly at 772-581-8839 to book a court.

Friendship Park also features a playground, a multi-purpose field, and a large pavilion available for rent, suitable for social events and community gatherings.

Session times for the clay courts are offered at 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Weekday and Saturday hours are 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Sundays, the courts are open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Session fees, which include tax and last 1 hour and 45 minutes, are set by Resolution No. R-20-24. Resident session fees are $5.00, and non-residents pay $7.00. Junior players under 18 pay $3.00 per session. Annual passes for residents and non-residents are also available, with varying prices for single, family, and senior (65 and over) options.
