Day.News – Drivers in Jenkins, Screven, Candler, and Bulloch Counties are advised to exercise extreme caution this morning due to a Dense Fog Advisory issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) Charleston SC.

The advisory is in effect from 2:14 AM EDT until 9:00 AM EDT today, October 2. Visibility in affected areas is expected to be one quarter mile or less, creating hazardous driving conditions.

The NWS urges all motorists to slow down, use their headlights, and maintain a safe following distance. The low visibility poses a significant risk for travel. This advisory affects Bulloch, Candler, Jenkins, and Screven Counties.
