Williamson County Historical Society Adds 3,000+ Names
Staff Writer
May 15, 2026
The Williamson County Historical Society in Marion has added two new resources to its collection: a transcription of "Stillbirths Book A" and "Naturalization and Petitions Volume 8B."
The stillbirths volume documents registered stillbirths and infant deaths in Williamson County from 1878 to 1969, adding over 3,000 names to the archive. The naturalization records, discovered in the museum, had not been part of any previously cataloged collection. Historical society staff compiled and added them as an addendum.
Both resources are available through the Misc. County Records Master index at the Williamson County Historical Society library in Marion.
