Black Testifies on Epstein Payments to House Committee

WASHINGTON – Billionaire investor Leon Black appeared before the House Oversight Committee on Friday, addressing his financial relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Black testified that Epstein deceived him over several years.

Black stated he paid Epstein $158 million during their association. He maintained that he committed no criminal wrongdoing. Black described his perception of Epstein, telling the committee, "I knew Jekyll. I didn't know Hyde."
