A protected area of over 300 acres that runs north to south along Ron Sapp Egans Creek, the Greenway was opened for public use in the summer of 2000 as an undeveloped park for passive recreational use.

A protected area of over 300 acres that runs north to south along Ron Sapp Egans Creek, the Greenway was opened for public use in the summer of 2000 as an undeveloped park for passive recreational use. Its grass-covered roads serve as a network of trails that are suitable for walking and bicycling, and its environment exhibits a variety of natural wildlife and vegetation.  Local wildlife, such as alligators, snakes, marsh rabbits, and many birds, may be enjoyed from a distance.  Benches and interpretive displays are located throughout the Greenway, and restrooms are available at the Nature Pavilion, located at the Greenway entrance behind the Atlantic Recreation Center on Atlantic Avenue. The Greenway may be accessed from: Behind the Atlantic Recreation Center at 2500 Atlantic Avenue Jasmine Street - two entrances (between Citrona Drive and Fletcher Avenue on Jasmine)   Citrona Drive from the extensions of Beech Street and Hickory Street Sadler Road, behind the Residence Inn (2301 Sadler Road) Parking is available in the Atlantic Recreation Center parking lot; along the right-of-way on Jasmine Street; and behind the Residence Inn on Sadler Road.

Seniors planning to take all of their classes at EFSC in the spring will need to complete the application on the EFSC Dual Enrollment website and have it submitted by November 13th. These forms will assist you in developing costs and fees associated with use based on the category of user as described in the above administrative procedures. If you have any questions regarding facility use, please contact Risk Management at (321)633-1000 ext. 11631. All outside entities must have a general liability insurance policy with limits of at least $1,000,000. The entity must submit a Certificate of Insurance that lists the School Board as the certificate holder and as an additional insured to the general liability policy as proof that they have insurance in place. If the outside entity does not have general liability insurance, they can purchase a policy for use via the District's TULIP Program.
