Satellite High's 'Journey to Atlantis' Homecoming 2026

Satellite High School will host its annual Homecoming week, themed "A Journey to Atlantis," beginning the week of October 5, 2026. Festivities include spirit events, Homecoming Court activities, a football game and the Homecoming Dance.

Students must meet eligibility requirements to purchase Homecoming Dance tickets, priced at $30. Requirements include maintaining good standing in school activities, clearing all financial and property obligations, and submitting a completed Homecoming Contract and Permission Slip. Students can print these forms from the school's website, complete them, and have them signed by a parent or guardian. Submit signed forms during lunch at the Homecoming table to SGA Sponsor Mrs. Gaudy or designated faculty members. A student ID is required for form check-in.

Ticket sales begin the week of October 5 via FOCUS, after all requirements are verified. Each student may only purchase their own ticket. The school has a strict no-refund policy. Students with outstanding obligations or eight or more unexcused absences will not be allowed to purchase tickets. Absence notes must be submitted within 48 school hours. Due to limited ticket availability, early submission of requirements is strongly encouraged.

Homecoming Court nominations are scheduled for October 8-9 during lunch at the Nominations Table. Freshmen, sophomores and juniors will nominate peers for Prince and Princess. Seniors will nominate for King, Queen, Prince and Princess. Voting will take place October 15-16 during lunch at the Voting Tables.

The Senior King and Queen, along with Prince and Princess, will be crowned at halftime of the Homecoming football game. The game is scheduled for Thursday, October 22, with kickoff at 7:00 p.m.

The Homecoming Dance will conclude the week's events on Saturday, October 24, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. in the Satellite High School Courtyard. Attendees must adhere to dress code guidelines and a prohibition against tobacco, alcohol and drugs. Students must arrive by 9:00 p.m. and may not leave and re-enter the dance.
