Process Server Applications Open July 1 in Sarasota

Sarasota-area residents interested in becoming certified process servers have a two-month application window. The Twelfth Judicial Circuit opened its application period Wednesday, July 1, 2026. The deadline for submissions is Monday, August 31, 2026.

Applicants must complete the online application, pay the fee and upload all required documentation by the August 31 deadline. Those approved will receive certification for the period Sept. 1, 2026, through Aug. 31, 2027.

Process servers deliver legal documents, such as summonses and subpoenas, ensuring parties receive proper notification of legal proceedings. The Twelfth Judicial Circuit covers Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, DeSoto and Hardee counties.
