Sarasota Memorial Golf Tournament Raises $1.7M
Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation raised $1.7 million for physician continuing education at its 24th annual golf tournament May 1 at Laurel Oak Country Club.
The tournament drew 132 golfers and has generated more than $1.7 million since its inception, funding education for Sarasota Memorial Health Care System physicians and clinical staff. More than 75 volunteers and staff members worked the event.
David Fouche of J2 Solutions chaired the tournament for the 10th consecutive year. DeAngelis Diamond Construction sponsored the golf carts. Above Par sponsors included Adams Group, Barr & Barr, Coastal Property Group of Florida, Connection Enterprise, Flad Architects, Gilbane Building Company, and Gresham Smith.
The foundation scheduled next year's tournament for May 7, 2027, at Laurel Oak Country Club.
