Santa Rosa County Gets $21M to Convert Septic Systems to Sewer

Santa Rosa County will receive approximately $21 million to convert septic systems to sewer connections under a program selected by the Florida Trustee Implementation Group in July 2024.

The Deepwater Horizon Natural Resource Damage Assessment program selected the county's project as one of 13 initiatives nationwide to improve water quality in the Pensacola Bay Watershed. Santa Rosa County will partner with local water utilities to carry out the conversions.

Residents seeking details can contact the County Administrator's office at 850-983-1877 or visit 6495 Caroline Street in Milton.
