We are so very pleased to announce the award of a $15,200 grant from “100 Women Who Care – Emerald Coast”. This organization consists of 100+ women who meet quarterly and raise thousands of dollars for local nonprofits. Gulf Cemetery was submitted for this donation by the mother-in-law of a young Special Ops veteran, Warrant Officer John Wirka, Jr., who is buried at the cemetery. John’s mother-in-law, Robyn Hughes, is a member of 100WWCEC.
