Residents of the San Bernardino and Riverside County Valleys, including the Inland Empire, are advised to take immediate precautions due to an Extreme Heat Warning issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) San Diego, CA. This warning is in effect from Tuesday, October 6, 2:20 AM PDT, and will continue until Thursday, October 8, at 8:00 PM PDT.
Dangerously hot conditions are expected, with high temperatures ranging from the upper 90s to 105 degrees Fahrenheit. It is critical to never leave young children or pets in unattended vehicles, as interior temperatures can reach lethal levels within minutes.
