Compost site now open for the season

Saint Cloud residents can now drop off yard waste at the city's compost site, which opened for the season on September 17, 2026. The site will operate daily from 8 a.m. until dusk, weather permitting, through mid-November.

Officials are encouraging users to utilize the donation box to help cover maintenance costs for the site. For more information on accepted materials, residents can visit the Compost Site page on the city's website.
