Published on November 06, 2023 On Saturday, October 28th, Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park partnered with Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) to host a fun filled day at the park! Visitors were able to participate in archery lessons, fishing lessons, and even participate in a scavenger hunt using GPS devices!
Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park Stargazing at Gold Head Date:September 7, 2024 Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM Location: Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park Fees: Program is free with park admission. Join park rangers and astronomy enthusiasts for an evening of stargazing at Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park. Participants will learn about constellations, planets, and other celestial objects while enjoying the dark sky conditions of the park. Telescopes will be available for viewing, and attendees are welcome to bring their own.
