NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City Commission of the City of St. Augustine, Florida, will hold a public hearing to consider the following ordinance amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of St. Augustine, Florida, as indicated below: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ST. AUGUSTINE, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CITY’S CODE OF ORDINANCES, CHAPTER 28, LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS, ARTICLE VI, SUPPLEMENTAL REGULATIONS, DIVISION 9, VACATION RENTALS, TO AMEND SECTION 28-619, DENSITY LIMITATIONS; AMENDING SECTION 28-620, REGISTRATION; AMENDING SECTION 28-621, OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. The public hearing will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. in the Alcazar Room, City Hall, 75 King Street, St. Augustine, Florida. All interested parties may appear at the public hearing and be heard regarding the proposed ordinance. The proposed ordinance is available for review at the City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, 75 King Street, St. Augustine, Florida, during regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Any person who decides to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at the public hearing will need a record of the proceedings and, for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, persons needing a special accommodation to participate in this proceeding should contact the City Clerk’s Office at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
