Hillsborough Schools Seek Volunteers for Instructional Materials

Hillsborough County Public Schools is recruiting residents for its Instructional Materials Adoption Committees. The committees will review and recommend educational resources for the 2026-2027 school year.

Committees will cover elementary, middle, and high school subjects, including Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and English Language Arts. Other areas include Health Education, Physical Education, Family and Consumer Sciences, Career and Technical Education (CTE), Exceptional Student Education (ESE), and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).

Volunteers will attend meetings and participate in reviewing and voting on proposed materials. Meetings are anticipated during the 2024-2025 school year.

Teachers, parents, and community members with an interest in education are encouraged to apply. Expertise in curriculum development, instructional design, or specific subject matter is beneficial. An online application form is available on the Hillsborough County Public Schools website.
