Village Council The Village Council is the legislative body of the Village of Tequesta. It consists of five members elected at large. The Council is responsible for establishing policies, approving budgets, and enacting ordinances and resolutions to govern the Village. "NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta, Florida, will hold a Public Hearing at the Village Hall, 357 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida, on June 6, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., to consider the following Ordinance: ORDINANCE 681-24 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS BY AMENDING SECTION 98-943, ENTITLED “VACATION RENTALS,” TO PROVIDE STANDARDS FOR VACATION RENTALS INTENDED TO MINIMIZE ADVERSE IMPACTS ON RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOODS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. The purpose of the proposed ordinance is to amend the Village of Tequesta Land Development Regulations by amending Section 98-943, entitled “Vacation Rentals,” to provide standards for vacation rentals intended to minimize adverse impacts on residential neighborhoods. ALL INTERESTED PARTIES MAY APPEAR TO BE HEARD AT THE MEETING."
