Rockledge Holiday Garbage & Recycling Schedule Changes

Rockledge residents will see changes to their regular garbage and recycling collection schedules due to upcoming holidays. The city has released its holiday schedule to inform residents of potential service changes.

The holiday schedule affects household garbage, recycling, and yard trash pickups. When a holiday falls on a regular collection day, pickup will be rescheduled.

**New Year's Day**, observed Jan. 1, will move Monday and Wednesday garbage routes to Friday, Jan. 2. Tuesday and Friday routes will be collected Tuesday, Jan. 20, following Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Jan. 19.

**Memorial Day**, observed May 25, will shift Monday/Thursday garbage routes to Tuesday and Thursday. Tuesday/Friday routes will move to Wednesday and Friday. Recycling and yard trash will be collected Tuesday, May 26.

**Independence Day**, observed July 3, will move Monday/Wednesday garbage routes to Monday, July 6. Tuesday/Friday routes will be picked up Thursday, July 2.

**Labor Day**, Sept. 7, will move Monday/Thursday garbage routes to Tuesday and Thursday. Tuesday/Friday routes will shift to Wednesday and Friday. Recycling and yard trash will be collected Tuesday, Sept. 8.

**Veterans Day**, observed Nov. 11, will not change Monday/Thursday garbage routes. Tuesday/Friday garbage routes will also remain unchanged. Recycling and yard trash will be collected Thursday, Nov. 12.

**Thanksgiving Day**, Nov. 26, will result in no pickups for any route that week.

**Christmas Day**, observed Dec. 25, will move Monday/Wednesday garbage routes to Monday, Dec. 28. Tuesday/Thursday routes will be collected Thursday, Dec. 24.
