ASQ Training Enhances Child Development Support in Rockledge

Early learning centers in the Rockledge area can improve their support for young children's development by attending an upcoming training session on the Ages & Stages Questionnaires (ASQ). The training is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Educators will learn to effectively communicate with parents about the purpose of developmental screenings. Participants will discover how to integrate ASQ screenings into their center's routines and accurately complete the ASQ-3 and ASQ:SE-2 screening tools.

The session also focuses on developing strategies for collaboration between early learning centers and families. The aim is to create a cohesive plan supporting a child's developmental progress at school and home. Attendees will receive 1.5 in-service hours, applicable toward Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) training requirements.

The training will be held at the ELC of Brevard Melbourne, located at 2671 Eau Gallie Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32935. A raffle for classroom supplies and toys will be held for attendees.
