Dangerous Swimming Conditions Expected Through Sunday Night

The National Weather Service (NWS) Buffalo NY has issued a Beach Hazards Statement, effective from September 26 at 10:58 PM EDT until September 28 at 4:00 AM EDT.
The NWS reports that strong currents and dangerous swimming conditions are expected along the beaches of the affected counties. These conditions pose a significant risk to swimmers and others entering the water.
To ensure safety, the NWS instructs everyone to stay out of the water to avoid these hazardous conditions. The Beach Hazards Statement is in effect through late Sunday night.
