Celebrating 29 years, the Party in the Park concert series will kick off with headliner Seven Wonders and opening act Highway Boys, a Zac Bryan tribute band. “Party in the Park has proven to be a community favorite for 29 years, and I’m thrilled to welcome Volvo Cars Rochester as our new series title sponsor,” said Mayor Evans. “This year’s lineup has something for everyone. I invite the entire community to come Downtown and enjoy the world-class entertainment that has put this event front-and-center as an example of our longstanding love for music and community.” “Music brings people together, and you don't get any better than this,” said Jeff Springut, CEO of Rochester Events. “Two amazing acts each week for only $7, all in beautiful Downtown Rochester, the heartbeat of the city. We’re ready for a great summer!” “Volvo Cars Rochester is proud to support Party in the Park and invest in an event that brings our community together year after year,” said Jon Eplin, General Manager of Volvo Cars Rochester. “As the only new-car dealership located within the city of Rochester, we believe in going the extra mile for the city we call home and are excited to celebrate music, connection, and community all summer long.” Volvo Cars Rochester Party in the Park kicks off on Thursday, July 9 at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park, 353 Court St., and continues every Thursday through Aug. 13. Gates open at 5 p.m., and performances begin at 6:30 p.m. General admission for Volvo Cars Rochester Party in the Park is $7; children 12 and under are free. VIP Ultra Lounge tickets, offering premium seating with private restrooms, a full cash bar, table service, and more are available for $35. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased online at www.RochesterEvents.com, in-person at the Auditorium Theater, 885 E. Main St., or at the gate. All closing acts are ASL interpreted. The 2026 Volvo Cars Rochester Party in the Park series lineup includes: July 9: Seven Wonders; Highway Boys – a Zach Bryan tribute band July 16: Almost Queen; Philadelphia Freedom – a tribute to Elton John July 23: Samantha Fish; The Adam Ezra Group July 30: Start Making Sense; The Dip Aug. 6: Smash Mouth; Shamarr Allen and the Underdawgs Aug. 13: Blackberry Smoke; special guest to be announced New this year, the Cantina in the lower level of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park will feature drink specials, traditional Los Angeles street tacos from Neno’s and El Kapitan food trucks, local craft vendors, and a DJ. Patrons are allowed to bring one sealed bottle of water into the concert space. Lawn chairs, bicycles, skateboards, in-line skates, and pets are prohibited. A strict no-smoking policy will be enforced. Parking is available at the Washington Square Garage, 111 Woodbury Blvd., the Court Street Garage, 194 Court St., the East End Garage, 475 E. Main St., and The Strong Museum, 1 Manhattan Square. Metered on-street parking is free after 6 p.m. on concert nights.
