The device has been installed outside The Depot at 319 N. River Street in downtown East Dundee, providing publicly accessible lifesaving equipment to residents and visitors. The East Dundee Fire Department and the Village of East Dundee are proud to share this important step forward in strengthening public safety within our community. Through a collaborative effort between the East Dundee Fire Department, Lauderdale Electric, and Andrew’s Assist, an outdoor-accessible AED cabinet has now been installed at The Depot. This installation reflects a shared commitment to preparedness, rapid emergency response, and increasing access to lifesaving equipment throughout the community. We are grateful for the strong partnerships that made this possible and look forward to hosting a future dedication ceremony and ribbon cutting as we continue working together to expand these important public safety efforts. To learn more about Andrew’s Assist, its mission, and Andrew’s story, click HERE.
