Wellington's Magic & Mentalism Night Debuts Nov. 7

Wellington residents can experience an evening of illusion with the debut of "The Mystery Behind the Magic." The Village of Wellington will host this new interactive entertainment event Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Wellington Community Center, 12150 Forest Hill Boulevard.

Reimagined from Wellington's former Murder Mystery Dinner Theater, the event now immerses attendees in magic, mentalism, illusion, dining and intrigue. Magician and mentalist David Frost will headline the evening, combining sleight of hand, mind-reading, psychological illusion and modern technology in his interactive performances.

The experience begins with a cocktail reception and hors d'oeuvres on the outdoor Promenade, followed by a three-course banquet-style dinner in the Grande Ballroom. Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants sponsors the event, providing wine and Prosecco. Frost’s performance will engage the audience throughout dinner.

Formal attire is suggested to match the roaring 20s theme. Supervised childcare for children ages 5–12 will be available during the event. Registration and childcare details are accessible through Wellington's CivicRec system.

Tickets for the 21+ event cost $60 per person and go on sale September 30, 2026, at 12 a.m. Registration is through Wellington's CivicRec system, with individual seats available at 22 tables. Advance registration is encouraged due to limited seating.
