South Shore United Methodist Church has launched 'Shore Youth,' a new program designed for local teenagers. The initiative aims to provide a consistent space for authenticity, acceptance, and spiritual growth within the Riverview community.
The 'Shore Youth' program meets every Sunday evening from 5 PM to 7 PM. These weekly sessions include a variety of activities, such as games, small group discussions, and worship, fostering an environment where young people can connect and explore their faith.
Beyond the regular Sunday gatherings, 'Shore Youth' offers additional opportunities for engagement. Students can participate in volunteer opportunities, attend camps, and join in fun days throughout the year. These activities extend the program's reach beyond the church walls, encouraging community involvement and personal development.
Ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants remains a top priority for the church. A notarized Medical Release and Parental Consent form is required for all students wishing to join 'Shore Youth,' providing peace of mind for parents and guardians.
