Riverview VPK Program Expands to Meet Growing Demand

The KCC Southeast VPK Program in Riverview has grown significantly since its 2013 launch, expanding from two classrooms to four to serve more young learners.

Located at 11519 McMullen Road, the program offers half-day and full-day Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten options for children aged 4 and 5. It focuses on high literacy standards and a curriculum designed for developmental appropriateness and future school readiness.

The program maintains small class sizes, with a 1:11 instructor-to-student ratio, supported by an assistant. "We started out with just 2 classes and now we are proud to say we have 4 classes and love that we have been able to grow with the school," a KCC representative stated.

KCC Southeast VPK utilizes the research-based Frog Street Pre-K curriculum, which integrates instruction across developmental domains. The program also offers aftercare and summer camp services.
