Dairy Queen Conjures Halloween Magic with First-Ever Spellbound Series Collection

Riverview residents can now enjoy a new lineup of Halloween-themed treats and a spicy surprise from Dairy Queen. The company launched its first-ever Halloween collection, dubbed the Spellbound Series, yesterday, September 28, at participating U.S. locations. This limited-time offering will remain available through November 1.

The centerpiece of the Spellbound Series is the new Enchanted OREO Blizzard Treat. This dessert combines Dairy Queen’s signature soft serve with OREO cookie pieces, an ube-flavored base, and a purple shimmer. For those seeking a beverage, the Bubble Brew DQ Sparkler features a mix of blood orange and lemonade, topped with sparkling water and cold foam. Stirring the drink activates its bubbling effect.

Beyond the sweet selections, Dairy Queen also introduced a new Ghost Pepper Sauce. This sauce, described as having a fiery, bold, and smoky heat, pairs with the chain’s four-piece Chicken Strip Basket. This addition offers a savory, spicy option for customers exploring the Halloween menu.

Customers can also collect Mystery Blizzard Buddy plush keychains for $4 with any purchase, while supplies last. Five characters are available: Blizabeth, Flip, Blenda, Brrrnie, and Goldie. Finding the rare golden Goldie Blizzard Buddy could win the lucky recipient Blizzard Treats for an entire year.

The full Spellbound Series, including all new treats, the spicy sauce, and collectible keychains, is available at participating Dairy Queen locations across the U.S. The promotion runs until November 1, giving residents a little over a month to try the new items.
