Residents in the San Bernardino and Riverside County Valleys – The Inland Empire are advised to take immediate precautions due to an Extreme Heat Warning issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) San Diego. Dangerously hot conditions, with high temperatures expected to reach the upper 90s to 103 degrees Fahrenheit, are forecast for today, October 8, 2026, until 8:00 PM PDT.

The NWS warns that heat-related illnesses will significantly increase during this extreme heat event. To ensure safety, residents should drink plenty of fluids, stay in air-conditioned rooms, and avoid direct sun exposure.
