At 712 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 24 miles northwest of Meeker, or 38 miles southwest of Craig, moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of south central Moffat County.
This includes U.S. Highway 40 in Colorado between mile markers 53 and 56.
