Zephyrhills Water Restrictions in Effect

WATERING RESTRICTIONS ARE IN EFFECT Due to extended drought conditions, the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) has ordered Modified Phase III Water Shortage Restrictions, which remain in effect through July 1, 2026. The City of Zephyrhills will be actively enforcing these watering restrictions. Citations and fines will be issued to violators of these restrictions. Residents may only irrigate their lawn ONCE per week on their assigned watering day: Addresses ending in: • 0 or 1 - Monday • 2 or 3 - Tuesday • 4 or 5 - Wednesday • 6 or 7 - Thursday • 8 or 9 - Friday, along with locations with a mix of addresses or for which an address cannot be determined (such as common areas associated with a subdivision) Updated irrigation windows: • Potable, well, or surface water: 8:00 PM – 11:59 PM OR 12:01 AM – 4:00 AM SWFWMD Water Restrictions & Resources: WaterMatters.org/restrictions

Corley, Supervisor of Elections, announces that candidate qualifying for Municipal Elections ended at noon on February 17, 2026. With the close of candidate qualifying, it is determined that the Cities of Dade City, New Port Richey, Port Richey, and the Town of Saint Leo will be holding elections on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.  Municipal Elections are for voters residing within the city limits only.  Information on city candidates is available on our website, PascoVotes.gov. All voters going to the polls for Municipal Elections should bring photo and signature identification or they will be required to vote a provisional ballot.  Voters requiring changes to their voter record are encouraged to update their voter registration record prior to Election Day by contacting the elections’ office at 800-851-8754 or visiting PascoVotes.gov.  ###

"PUBLIC NOTICE PASCO COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Pasco County Board of County Commissioners will conduct a Public Hearing to consider the following proposed amendments to the Pasco County Comprehensive Plan: Policy FLU 1.1.6: Increasing the maximum residential density within the Urban Service Area. Policy FLU 4.3: Revising the policies related to compatibility between residential development and adjacent agricultural activities. SAID HEARING will be held on April 23, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. in the Board Room of the Robert K. Sumner Governmental Center, 8731 Citizens Drive, New Port Richey, Florida 34654. ALL INTERESTED PERSONS may appear and be heard at the Public Hearing.
