Schedule a Redelivery If we missed you when we tried to deliver your mail, you can schedule a Redelivery online using a tracking number or the barcode number shown on the back of your PS Form 3849, We ReDeliver for You! Redeliveries can be scheduled online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For same-day Redelivery, make sure your request is submitted by 2 AM CST Monday-Saturday or your Redelivery will be scheduled for the next day. Check to determine if Redelivery is available for your address. Step 1: Check if Redelivery is available for your address. Provide contact information with the address matching the original delivery address, including first name, last name, street address, city, state, and ZIP code. Step 2: Select packages for Redelivery. Enter a tracking or barcode number shown on the back of PS Form 3849. Tracking numbers are for individual packages, while barcode numbers can have multiple tracking numbers associated with them. Both are between 13 and 34 characters. Redelivery Options: - USPS Smart Parcel Locker: If eligible, packages can be delivered to electronic lockers available 24/7 with one-time pickup code. - USPS Carrier Redelivery: Fill out the back of PS Form 3849 to specify when and where the carrier should leave the package. - Customer Pickup: Go to the Post Office location to pick up the package or send a representative. - Return to Sender by USPS: Return the package to the shipper with "Return to Sender" endorsement. Step 3: Confirm selections for Redelivery. Review and confirm selections. Accept Terms and Conditions to proceed. Step 4: Sign up for Informed Delivery. Customers can opt to sign up for Informed Delivery notifications, a free feature for tracking redelivery status, previewing incoming mail, and more.
