Discussing Development
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Town Hall: Development 101 event. We loved hearing the type of development projects you want to see! Together, we're supporting a Ward 6 designed with input from neighbors.
Celebrating Our Schools
I presented a proclamation at Kitty Ward’s Purple Star Ceremony, which recognizes schools that go the extra mile to support military families with resources and outreach. I’m proud to have such as exceptional school in Ward 6 that makes our community a welcoming place for our military neighbors!
Connecting With Northwest Women
I attended the Wellness and Mindset Conference hosted by Coach Rose Peterson, supporting with Pinkbox donuts, bagels and coffee. It was a full panel of powerhouse women who shared tips to prioritize physical and emotional self-care.
Cleaning Our Parks
What better way to celebrate Earth Day than a park cleanup? I had the best time volunteering with Get Outdoors Nevada and NV Energy to plant trees, build planter boxes and pick weeds at Floyd Lamb Park.
Competing In The Corporate Challenge
I loved competing with our city of Las Vegas running and volleyball teams at the Corporate Challenge. I'm grateful for the camaraderie as part of the city of Las Vegas family — winning every game or not!
Organizing Pickleball Tournaments
Our Skye Canyon Pickleball Tournament with Southern Nevada Pickleball was a smash hit! Neighbors brought their A-game and showed up ready to serve with a full tournament and 25 neighbors joining the beginners' clinic.
We also hosted a pickleball tournament at Trilogy Sunstone. For both of these tournaments, we gave out free pickleball-themed swag. More pickleball events to come!
