Gotterup Leads PGA Championship After Second Round
Chris Gotterup shot a 5-under 65 to take the lead at the PGA Championship. Scottie Scheffler recovered from a difficult start to remain within striking distance.

Chris Gotterup carded a 5-under 65 to secure the lead at the PGA Championship. Gotterup had three consecutive birdies on the front nine. He hit 15 of 18 greens in regulation and led the field in Strokes Gained: Approach the Green with 2.860.
Alex Smalley finished the second round at 4-under 136. Scottie Scheffler shot a 1-over 71, ending the day two strokes behind Smalley. Scheffler had three bogeys in the first four holes and hit his first fairway on the eighteenth hole. Hideki Matsuyama shot a 67.
