Affected areas include:
- Georgia: Rabun, Habersham, Stephens, Franklin, Hart, Elbert counties.
- North Carolina: Avery, Henderson, Caldwell Mountains, Burke Mountains, McDowell Mountains, Rutherford Mountains, Polk Mountains.
- South Carolina: Anderson, Abbeville, Greenwood, Oconee Mountains, Pickens Mountains, Greenville Mountains, Greater Oconee, Greater Pickens, Central Greenville, Southern Greenville.
Impacts from the strong east winds (10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 46 mph) include unsecured objects being blown around, potential downed tree limbs, and isolated power outages. Driving may be particularly difficult for high-profile vehicles.
