Election Worker Positions Available with Palm Beach County

The Clerk manages all operations at the polling place to ensure the voting process is administered in accordance with Florida Election Law and the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections' policies and procedures. On Election Day, the Clerk manages the team of Election Workers and is responsible for ensuring that all Election Workers fulfill their duties. The Clerk processes provisional voters, resolves voter challenges, completes affirmations, and is responsible for the accurate completion of all ballot accounting forms. The Clerk has additional responsibilities prior to Election Day.The Assistant Clerk supports the Clerk and shares their duties as needed. The Assistant Clerk shall step in as the Clerk if the Clerk is unable to perform his or her duties.The Voting System Technician (VST) is responsible for the voting equipment and successful transmission of results. The VST has additional responsibilities prior to Election Day.An Inspector has a few different roles on Election Day. An EViD Inspector processes voters to verify voter eligibility, issues the voter their voting pass, and directs the voter to the Ballot Inspector to receive their ballot. A Ballot Inspector reviews the voter's voting pass and distributes the correct ballot in a secrecy sleeve and reconciles the ballots at the end of Election Day.The Quality Assurance (QA) Forms Inspector has the same responsibilities as an Inspector. Additionally, they are responsible for working with the Clerk to ensure that all procedural forms are signed, dated, and completely filled out.The Deputy maintains peace and good order outside of the polling place. It's never been easier to vote in Palm Beach County! There are three different ways to cast your vote.Vote By MailVoting by mail is the easiest and most convenient way to vote. Completing your ballot at home allows you to take your time making your selections. You can return your ballot by mail, at an Early Voting location, or in person at any of our four offices. Make an online request that your ballot be mailed to you, or call us at (561) 656-6200.Early VotingEarly Voting is another easy and convenient way to vote. Any eligible registered voter in Palm Beach County can vote in any of the Early Voting sites we have open. Early Voting differs from Election Day voting because, on Election Day, you must vote in the polling place assigned to your precinct.When can you vote early? Early Voting dates, times, and locations are subject to change. This information will be available on the Early Voting page at least 30 days before Election Day.Election Day VotingMany voters choose to cast their vote on Election Day. On Election Day, you must vote at the polling place that is assigned to your precinct. Your precinct and polling place are printed on your Voter Information Card and available online. Use Find My Precinct to find your correct precinct and voting location. Polling places are open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm on Election Day.

This program was established to encourage voter participation and help remind citizens about the countless sacrifices of our veterans.
