FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: July 5, 2023 (Madison, FL) July 2023 – North Florida Medical (NFM) is pleased to announce that the groundbreaking ceremony for its Madison office location will take place at 12 pm on Friday, July 14, 2023. The ceremony will be held at 469 W. Base St. Madison FL. 32340, directly opposite the Buckeye Credit Union building. The medical center will be staffed with medical providers, nurses, and clinical support staff who can provide quality healthcare services to the community, including underserved and underprivileged citizens. NFM is committed to enhancing community health by increasing access to quality healthcare services. The City Manager expressed excitement about the development, stating that it has been a long-awaited and much-needed addition to our rural community. “We are proud of what we do and we live by our mission every day at each of our centers located throughout North Florida. We work endlessly to increase awareness about the importance of healthy lifestyles, and preventive practices and to improve the health of our communities. “ – said Lane M. Lunn, CEO of NFM. The location of the medical center was chosen carefully to provide convenient access to as many people as possible. It will be located on the south side of Highway 90, which is a major thoroughfare through Madison. The medical center is expected to bring new jobs and economic growth to the area, as well as better health outcomes for residents.
