Wrangell Municipal Light & Power Transitions to Diesel Generation October 1st
PUBLIC NOTICE Wrangell Municipal Light & Power will be going to diesel generation starting October 1st, 2023. As you know, our hydroelectric generation system has had some issues this past year. In order to provide reliable power to the community, we will be starting up our diesel generators on October 1st, 2023. This will be a temporary situation until we can get our hydroelectric system repaired and back to normal operations. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time.
