Fair Stoddert Students Donate $2,447 to End Hunger
Staff Writer
June 11, 2026
Students at Fair Stoddert Primary School collected $2,447.50 during their annual coin drive and presented the donation to End Hunger In Calvert County this week.
The elementary school conducts the coin drive as a service learning project, teaching students about community needs and charitable giving. Coin drives allow young students to participate in fundraising through small donations that accumulate into substantial support for local causes.
End Hunger In Calvert County operates food assistance programs throughout the county, distributing food to residents facing food insecurity and coordinating with local partners to address hunger in the region.
