Blood Pressure Screening The Silent Killer Uncontrolled high blood pressure (HBP) can injure or kill you. It’s sometimes called “the silent killer” because HBP has no symptoms, so you may not be aware that it’s damaging your arteries, heart and other organs. Blood Pressure screening is available upon request. No physician referral is necessary, however, they are often performed at the request of a physician to assist in monitoring the patient’s hypertension. Individuals are welcome to come in at any time, and have their blood pressure checked. This chart reflects blood pressure categories defined by the American Heart Association. Our Services TB Tests Tuberculosis (TB) tests are performed upon the request of an individual, a referral from a physician’s office, or by the request of a local employer. Influenza Vaccine (Flu) Rambo Memorial Health Center provides influenza vaccine according to the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), flu shots will be available when the vaccine arrives (usually in September of each year).
