The Indiana Pacers, entering the lottery with the fourth-best odds (67.3%) for a top-four pick, fell to the ninth selection. This result marked a significant shift in their draft positioning.
The Orlando Magic, holding the third-best odds, dropped to fifth. The Detroit Pistons, with the second-best odds for the top pick, received the sixth selection. The Charlotte Hornets, who had the fifth-best odds, landed the seventh pick.
The Portland Trail Blazers, also possessing high odds, will pick eighth. The Utah Jazz will select tenth. The Sacramento Kings, a participant in the lottery, secured the eleventh pick.
