Wisconsin Dairy Exports Hit $365M Mark in 2025 Amid National Surge

Wisconsin's agricultural exports totaled $2.03 billion in the first half of 2025, with dairy products — including cheese, whey, lactose and milk proteins — accounting for 18% of the volume, according to the state Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection's International Agribusiness Center.[1] This figure marks the third-highest first-half total on record, down just 0.53% from 2024 but 5.4% above the 2021 baseline year for the Wisconsin Initiative for Agricultural Exports.
