**Wind Advisory issued September 15 at 4:55AM AKDT until September 16 at 12:00PM AKDT by NWS Anchorage AK**

* WHAT...South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts of up to 40 to 50 mph expected.

* WHERE...NW Kenai Peninsula and SW Kenai Peninsula.

* WHEN...From 4 PM this afternoon to noon AKDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result. Trees are still mostly green and fully leafed, causing them to be more vulnerable to damage from the strong winds.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A strong storm fall system moving into the western coast of Alaska will produce strong and gusty southerly winds moving up the Cook Inlet starting Tuesday afternoon and persisting into Wednesday morning. The strongest winds will be focused along the coast from Anchor Point north to Kenai and Nikiski. The gusty southerly winds will continue through late Wednesday morning before slowly diminishing Wednesday afternoon.
