**Wind Advisory issued September 15 at 3:28PM AKDT until September 16 at 12:00PM AKDT by NWS Anchorage AK**

* WHAT...South to southeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts of up to 40 to 50 mph expected.

* WHERE...Anchorage Bowl.

* WHEN...Until noon AKDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result. Trees are still mostly green and fully leafed, causing them to be more vulnerable to damage from the strong winds.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Southeast winds have been limited mostly to south and west Anchorage today, with gusts of 30 to 35 mph reported at Ted Stevens and Lake Hood Airports. However, winds are still forecast to turn out of the south and spread into the rest of the Anchorage Bowl by this evening. Gusty southerly winds will continue through late tomorrow morning before slowly diminishing through tomorrow afternoon.
