Weston Prepares for Annual Spring Clean-Up Day

Weston, Florida residents are encouraged to mark their calendars for the annual Spring Clean-Up Day, scheduled for Saturday, April 26, 2026. This community-wide event provides an opportunity for residents to dispose of unwanted household items and yard waste responsibly.

The event will take place at the Weston Public Works Yard, located at 145 Main Street near the Weston Town Center, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Volunteers from the Weston Community Association will be on hand to assist with unloading items and directing traffic. Accepted items include bulk trash, old furniture, appliances (without Freon), and yard debris. Hazardous waste, tires, and construction materials will not be accepted.

“Spring Clean-Up Day is a fantastic way for our community to come together and ensure Weston stays beautiful, with its lush landscapes and winding canals,” said Martha Jenkins, President of the Weston Community Association. “It’s also a great chance to clear out those garages and attics before summer.”
