West Melbourne Roadwork, Park Upgrades Continue; City Hall Closed for Memorial Day

West Melbourne residents will see ongoing road maintenance and park improvements as the city continues its infrastructure and recreational enhancements. Public Works crews are conducting resurfacing projects across various streets, which may cause traffic delays and detours. The city-wide traffic signal synchronization project also continues, aiming to improve traffic flow and reduce travel times along major corridors.

These efforts are part of the city's commitment to maintaining essential infrastructure and enhancing community spaces. The Public Works Department is also increasing its focus on stormwater management, including regular maintenance of drainage canals and inlets, to prevent flooding as warmer months approach.

Central Park is undergoing the next phase of improvements, which includes the installation of new playground equipment and enhancements to walking trails. The Parks and Recreation Department anticipates completing these upgrades by late summer.
